Tuberculosis (TB) is a disease caused by A type of  bacteria called Mycob-bacterium.
It is also called Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB). The bacteria most often affects the lungs, but usually they can also damage other parts of the body.
There are two major types of TB

  • Tuberculosis disease
  • Tuberculosis infection

Sign and symptoms of TB are Chest Pain, Night sweats, Cough, Weight Lose and Fatigue.
TB spreads from person to person through micro droplets in air, when a active TB person speaks, sneezes, coughs, laughs or sings.

  • TB transmission

TB is spreads in shaking hands, sharing Food, Drinks, Toothbrushes, Using same Toilet seats or Kissing.
TB is a deadly infection disease in mankind for many years. Active TB is when it producing its symptoms and it is spreading from person to person.
Inactive or latent TB is when its bacteria are not producing symptoms in affected man. It is my due to that person immune system which dominant over producing symptoms and spreading TB bacteria.

  • TB Treatment

TB bacteria die very slower and patients have to take TB antibiotics like Myambutol, Rifadin, Rimactane, Pyrazinamide regularly from 3, 6, or 9 months depending on TB germs. Sometimes patients feel that they are cured but still bacteria alive in their body so consult your doctor its better for you.

  • Avoid In TB

Do not drink Alcohol, Avoid Red meat, refined products like Sugar, bread etc.
Also Avoid high cholesterol items.

  • TB Patients Diet

Some of the best foods for TB patients include the yellow orange fruits and vegetables such as orange, capsicum, mango, papaya, sweet pumpkin, carrots which are rich in Vitamin A, while Vitamin C is obtained from fresh fruits including guava, amla, orange, tomato, sweet lime, lemon.
